SIOUX CENTER—Making the best of a long road trip, the Algona Bulldog girls track squad made a strong showing at the Class 3A regional track meet held on Thursday, May 15 as the red-and-black finished third in the team standings with 98 points.

During the eight-team meet, the Bulldogs qualified 10 young ladies in nine different events for this week’s Class 3A state track meet held at the Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
