The City of Algona’s annual spring cleanup day is set for Saturday, May 10 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Any items dropped off at this location outside of the scheduled hours will be considered unauthorized dumping.

During the City of Algona’s annual spring cleanup day a dumpster will be available in the Algona Aquatic Center parking lot to dispose of items for a fee.

Fees are in place for loads as follows:

$25 per load, car
