POCAHONTAS—Pocahontas Area used two five-run outbursts to defeat West Bend-Mallard 10-0 in four innings in a Twin Lakes Conference softball contest played on Thursday, June 26.

The home team broke open a 0-0 game in the bottom of the third stanza with five runs and added five more tallies in the bottom of the fourth frame to end the contest early.
