ALGONA—Brandon Nielsen won the Jess Weishaar Memorial hobby stock car feature race on Thursday, July 17 to conclude a huge evening of dirt track racing and events at the Kossuth County Speedway.

“Christmas in July” was the theme for the night as free popcorn and flying disks were handed out; kids got car rides in their favorite driver’s car and free backpacks courtesy of Brooke Fett and special appearances were made from Santa Claus and the Grinch.
