SWEA CITY—North Union exploded for seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break open a tight 5-4 contest as the green-black-and-silver went onto a 12-4, six-inning Top of Iowa Conference softball win over the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears on Friday, June 27.

The victory kept the Warriors atop the league standings with a 13-1 conference record and 18-5 overall while the black-and-gold fell to 5-12 overall and 3-7 in conference games.
