HUMBOLDT—Sixth-ranked Algona clinched at least a share of the 2025 North Central Conference baseball title with a doubleheader split on Monday, June 23 against the Humboldt Wildcats.

Tate Slagle pitched the red-and-black to an 11-0, five-inning shutout in the opener before the Wildcats took the nightcap 2-0 in a pitcher’s duel between Aiden Ulrich and Isaiah Busick.
