Funeral services for Dr. LeRoy Strohman were held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Algona Evangelical Free Church, with Pastor Dan Jordan officiating. Interment was at Riverview Cemetery.

Dr. LeRoy Strohman was born on Nov. 4, 1934, to Wilford and Olive (Fuhrmeister) Strohman. He attended West Waterloo High School where he wrestled for Hall of Fame coach Bob Siddens.
