Utility-scale solar energy farms are prohibited in Kossuth County for even longer.

The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, June 17, voted to extend the temporary ban, which it called a moratorium, through Dec. 31, 2025. Originally a 9-month ban, it was previously set to expire on July 1.
