The Kossuth County Historical Society has chosen Kirk and Julie Hayes as their 2025 Honorees for their contributions to the Society. Kirk and Julie are longtime active members of the Historical Society, showing up for most events. Kirk was cited for his involvement in many foundations and groups that have benefited many in Algona and the surrounding areas.  He was the leader in developing the Kossuth County Community Foundation.
