County road crews this week are finishing preparations for next week’s RAGBRAI route through northern Kossuth County. Cyclists will ride through the county between overnight stops in Estherville and Forest City.

Kossuth County Engineer Doug Miller said crews are using a broom-like attachment to remove any stray rocks from intersections before the approximately 20,000 cyclists roll through the county on Tuesday, July 22.
