EAGLE GROVE—Mara Davis of Algona was the runner-up at the Dick Bell Invitational held on Tuesday, Oct.3 to highlight the performances of the Algona and Bishop Garrigan girls’ cross-country squads.

Davis crossed the finish line with a clocking of 20:50.06 for the red-and-black that was topped only Lauren Hillesland of North Iowa in 20:34.58.
