DES MOINES—In his first year of competing in the high jump, Bishop Garrigan’s senior Collin Casey earned a medal at the Class 1A state track meet over the past weekend.

Casey cleared the bar at 6’ 0” to finish in a three-way tie with Quinton McCardville of St. Edmond and Cooper Kock of Ar-We-Va for eighth place.
