The heavy wind on Friday last did some damage around town. A portion of the rear wall of Ambrose Call’s brick building at the depot was blown outward. The damage is not so great as was first supposed. That portion blown out was about 7 by 16 feet. Several chimneys were blown down, but no serious damage has been done.
