Mary Wehrspan, age 80 of Algona, passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at the Windsor Manor in Algona. Memorial services were held on Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Algona with Rev. Tom Schlund officiating.  Burial took place at Riverview Cemetery in Algona.

WESLEY – A funeral Mass for James Miller was held Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wesley with Father Steven McLoud officiating.  Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Wesley.
James Robert Miller was born Aug. 24, 1935, on the family farm near Wesley.  He grew up there attending St. Joseph Catholic School in Wesley.  Jim worked for farmers throughout his early years.  He moved to Mason City in 1985.

Richard “Dick” Lee Robinson was born Feb. 27, 1942, at Algona, the son of Elzie “Bud” and Ruth Robinson. He passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at his home in Dow City, at the age of 75. 
Dick received his education in the schools near his home and was a 1960 graduate of Garrigan Catholic School in Algona. On Feb. 23, 1963, he married Barbara Marlow at St. Cecilia’s Church in Algona.

Funeral services for Wayne Eugene Thompson were held on Friday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Swea City. The visitation was held prior to the service from 9 - 11 a.m.
Wayne Eugene Thompson passed away on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont, Minn.  He passed peacefully with several of his family at his side.

Russell Wallace Kiley joined his Lord and Savior on Nov. 19, 2017, at the age of 86. 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at 2 p.m., at Grace Church in Algona. Burial will take place at East Lawn Cemetery in Algona. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov.  24, 2017, from 4-6 p.m., at Grace Church in Algona. Military rites will be conducted by the Wesley American Legion.

Funeral Mass for Dan Burns was celebrated on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecelia Catholic Church with Father Laurence Burns officiating. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery.

WESLEY — A funeral Mass was held Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wesley with Father Steven McLoud officiating.  Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Andrew American Legion Post #428.

BANCROFT — A funeral Mass for Albert Hellman will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Bancroft with Father Steven McLoud officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Bancroft. His family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. on Monday until time of Mass at the church.

Christian Fisher, age 25 of Burt, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Burt Presbyterian Church in Burt. Burial took place at Burt Township Cemetery in Burt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Christian’s honor and left to the discretion of his family.

Rudolph “Rudy” Hildman, 102, of Britt passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Hancock County Memorial Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 139 3rd Street Southeast in Britt with Fr. Jim Dubert officiating.  Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery outside Britt.
