Funeral Mass for Harriet Menke was celebrated on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bancroft with Father Steven McCloud officiating. Burial was in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.

David Looft, age 77, a longtime farmer in the Fenton (Seneca) area passed away on Dec. 29, 2017 at Windsor Manor Assisted Living in Algona.  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Algona, with Rev. Tom Schlund officiating.  Burial will be in the Blakjar Lutheran Cemetery in rural Seneca.  Visitation was held 4 - 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Life Center.

 Arline Tobin, 92, of Estherville, formerly of Swea City died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Society in Estherville. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Oakcrest Funeral Services in Bancroft with Pastor Todd Hartsock officiating. Inurnment was in the Harrison Township Cemetery in Swea City.
