no predictions, but some ideas for Iowa's lawmakers

People who grew up in bygone days could stand in line at the grocery store and ponder the covers of various tabloids featuring the late Jean Dixon. She was a psychic and astrologer who made predictions throughout her life, but the tabloids featured her musings annually around the start of the new year.
Dixon had followers throughout the world, and her work sold millions of copies of those old standbys such as The Globe, The Weekly World News and others. In 1956, she predicted a labor-backed Democrat would win the presidency in 1960 and then be assasinated while in office – but in 1960, she reversed course and said Richard Nixon would defeat John F. Kennedy. Rumor has it she liked cake, and to eat it, too.
