Number of Kossuth residents vaccinated climbing, local infection rate lower than area, boosters available

KOSSUTH COUNTY—Sixty percent of Kossuth County adults are now fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 coronavirus.

That’s according to statistics posted at the Iowa coronavirus website on Monday of this week.

Overall, 48.4 percent of the population of the county is fully vaccinated. That figure is 56.4 per-cent of all those age 12 and over, 60 percent of those age 18 and over and 81.6 percent of those age 65 and over.
