WESLEY – Larry Kiley, 84, of Wesley, passed away on Nov. 5, 2016, at the Hancock County Health System in Britt. 
Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov 8, at Lentz Funeral Home in Algona. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Andrews American Legion Post # 428 of Wesley.  Visitation was 4-7 p.m., Monday at the Lentz Funeral Home in Algona. 
Larry Phillip Kiley, the son of Lee and Geneva (Schnebly) Kiley, was born on July 31, 1932 in Kanawha, Iowa. He graduated from Titonka High School in 1952. Larry served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the USS Iowa.  On June 21, 1958, Larry married Rose Dangelser in Parnell, Mo. Larry farmed and raised sheep in the Wesley area, retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Andrews American Legion Post #428 in Wesley.
Left to cherish Larry’s memory is his wife of 58 years, Rose; two sons, Dale Kiley and his wife, Patti of Wesley and Alan Kiley and his wife, Cheryl of Waukee; six grandchildren, Nick, Nate, Becki (Jake), Matt, Andrew (Jessica) and Curtis; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Bob (Judy) Kiley of Creston and Russell (Lenora) Kiley of Algona; and a sister, Betty. His parents and a brother, Charles Kiley, preceded him in death.
