Phyllis Dreyer of Fenton, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Kossuth Regional Health Care in Algona, at the age of 86 years. 
Funeral services for Phyllis will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fenton. Burial will follow at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation for Phyllis will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 5-7 p.m., at the church.

Cecil Ditsworth, 85, of Mason City, passed away Friday, (May 26, 2017) in Mason City.  
Funeral service was held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, (May 30, 2017) at First Baptist Church, 125 East State Street, Mason City, with the Rev. Scott Sokol officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Mason City Veterans will conduct military honors.

A memorial service was held for Mary Ann on Saturday, May 20, at 2 p.m. in Fridley, Minn.
Mary Ann was born on Jan. 8, 1949, in Algona, to Paul and Theresa (Shipler) Ostwinkle.

Ruth A Newel, 94, peacefully slipped into the arms of her Lord surrounded by family on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, in West Des Moines. Ruth suffered a series of strokes, which lead to a rapid decline in her health in the past year.

ALGONA — Ellis Perry Mains joined his Lord and Savior on May 13, 2017, at the age of 94. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 10:30 a.m., at Grace Church, Algona. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Haag-Turner American Legion Post No. 90 and the VFW Post No. 2541.

Phyllis Georgiann (Swyter) Baade, daughter of George and Tena (Meyer) Swyter was born Jan. 5, 1936, in rural Titonka.  She attended school at German Township #4 and Titonka Consolidated School graduating in 1954. She also took a Clerical Course at the Mankato Commercial College, Mankato, Minn.
