Robert (Bob) Anderson, age 72 of Golden Valley, Ariz., formally of Ledyard, passed away on Monday April 24, 2023, at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 17 from 1-3 p.m. at the Ledyard Community Building in Ledyard.
Robert (Bob) Anderson was born on Sept. 23 1951, in Bancroft to George and Ada (Dixon) Anderson. He graduated from Ledyard High School.
Bob worked several years at Winnebago Industries in Forest City. He also worked at Hormel in Britt for several years.
He married Rose Marie Schwiehtenberg at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
Bob enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with family, friends, his grandchildren and his dog Bella.
Bob had a huge heart and would help anyone who needed it. He had a great smile and laugh.
Left to cherish Bob’s memory is his wife Rose Marie Anderson of Golden Valley, Ariz.; his children Eric Flaten (Christie) and Jessica Hildorn (Shawn); and seven grandchildren. His sisters Barb Anderson, Karen Anderson and Becky Anderson. Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins and friends and his dog Bella.
Preceding him in death are his parents, George and Ada Anderson; his sister Jean Anderson; his father and mother-in-law Jessie and Marlys Schwiehtenberg; and sister-in-law Diana Schwiehtenberg.
