Cyril Thilges was selected as Knight of the Month by the Knights of Columbus. Thilges was selected out of more 31,000 Knights in over 200 Councils as Knight of the Month for the State of Iowa. The Knights of Columbus are founded on the principles of faith, charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The Knights, founded by Father McGivney in 1882, work to bring aid and assistance to the sick, disabled, single parents, and those in need.
