ALGONA—As part of the Frostbite Olympics festivities planned by the Algona Area Chamber of Commerce, an "Achin for Bacon - It's All About the Bacon Bloody Mary Bar" event is set for Saturday, February 4 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the VFW in Algona. Besides bacon, a large variety of items to add to drinks and some bacon appetizers and desserts are planned.
