West Bend-Mallard FFA students created a fictional character named Farmer Fred, similar to Flat Stanley who travels around the country. The FFA students visit the preschool classroom to teach the young students about agriculture and bring different farm animals to school for the students to learn about.

The teacher says the preschool students look forward to seeing what “Farmer Fred’s” friends will teach them about each month.
