ALGONA—Forty-five percent of Algona Municipal Utilities’ (AMU) electricity is being generated by wind energy, and that’s “where we expect to be on a monthly basis,” said John Bilsten, AMU’s general manager.
The report was given during the utility board of trustees monthly meeting Wednesday, Sept. 29.
