Norma Jean (Foutch) Bonnstetter, the daughter of Theodore and Nora (Grate) Foutch, was born Jan. 16, 1931, in Council Bluffs. She was raised and educated in Council Bluffs. Norma moved to West Bend and completed her junior and senior year at West Bend Community High School, graduating in 1949.

Bertie entered this life on Dec. 11, 1936 in Harris to the late Bertie Louscher Sr. and Gladys (Brumley) Louscher.

David L. Bernhard, 91 of Britt, passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

Bernice Gorham, age 87 of St. Joe, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at the West Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at the Lentz Funeral Home in Algona, with burial in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the Lentz Funeral Home in Algona. Masks will be required and social distancing practices will be followed.

William D. “Bill” Ford, 76 of Bancroft, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Lakeside Lutheran Home in Emmetsburg. A private family service was held Jan. 13 at 11 a.m. at Oakcrest Funeral Services of Bancroft with the Rev. Steven McLoud of St. John’s Catholic Church officiating. Interment followed at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Bancroft.

A funeral service for Marilyn Benson, 86 of Algona, was held 2:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at Algona First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Steve Nofel officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Algona.

William Henry Steven died unexpectedly at home in Algona on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021. He was 61.
A private family graveside service was held Jan. 8 at East Lawn Cemetery. A public visitation with no family present was held 5-6 p.m. Jan. 7 at Oakcrest Funeral Services, Algona.
