Diana Webb, age 77 of Fenton, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center. Funeral Service was at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Fenton. Burial took place at the Fenton United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation was 4-7 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Fenton. Services have been entrusted to Lentz Funeral Home of Algona.

Letitia Lenora “Tish” Neuroth, 98, of Manchester, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood. She was born on Oct. 13, 1924, in Whittemore, the daughter of Otto and Mary Ann (Wiltgen) Kenne. Tish was raised in Whittemore and was a graduate of Presentation Academy.

September 10, 1931 - June 13, 2023

Mary Ann Coady was born Sept. 10, 1931, in Bancroft, daughter of Henry and Veronica (Schiltz) Rustemier. She attended St. John’s Catholic School graduating in 1949. Mary Ann was married to James Coady on June 7, 1950, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bancroft.  They lived on a farm near Burt moving into Bancroft in 1981.

Anthony “Tony” Girres, age 60, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, as the result of a recreational vehicle accident. Funeral services are tentatively set for 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 19. Hilah Noelle (Sherman) Owen was born March 18, 1982, in Iowa City to Brad and Carole Sherman. Hilah passed away June, 2023, in Algona.

She grew up a “pastor’s kid,” received a Christian education from 1st through 8th grade at ICBF (Hillside) Christian school in Coralville and graduated from Iowa City West High School.

Judy K. (McEnroe/Pugh) Nielsen, 89, passed away June 9, 2023. Per her wishes there will be a private service (no visitation); her body will be cremated. She requested her ashes, along with her husband’s, be spread on Family Century Farm Land in Kossuth County, near Algona, where her mother’s were also spread.

Scott Robinson, age 35, of Altoona, formerly of Burt, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Algona. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday, June 17 at the church.

Robert “Bob” Buscher, age 99, of Algona passed away on June 8, 2023, at the Algona Manor Care Center.
