Are you ready for football?

It is hard to believe, but the opening weekend of high school football is upon us as all four area teams are in action this Friday.  Some other fall sports will get things going before that.  The Algona volleyball team opened things up on Tuesday at the Dallas Center-Grimes Classic with four games to open the season.
Today (Thursday), the Algona swim team travels to Perry while the Bishop Garrigan volleyball squad hosts Belmond-Klemme and the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines trek to Sioux Central to face the Rebels.
