FENTON - Tracey Block, age 53, of Fenton, passed away on Aug. 14, 2018, at her home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, at the United Methodist Church in Fenton. Visitation was held 4-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at the Lentz Funeral Home in Algona.
Tracey Eileen Block, the daughter of Keith Block and Marlene (Klocko) Bart, was born on April 3, 1965, in Storm Lake. She attended Watertown Elementary in Watertown, Minn., and graduated from Pomeroy High School in 1983. Tracey attended Iowa Lakes Community College and earned a degree in Graphic Design in 1985. Tracey worked for the Algona School District as a Teacher’s Aid. She loved photography, scrapbooking and being an advocate for mental illness. Tracey was always lending a helping hand and volunteering with the Special Olympics.
Left to cherish Tracey’s memory is her son, Ryan Goodburn of Fenton; special friend, Lamonte Goodburn of Madelia, Minn.; mother, Marlene Bart of Pocahontas; father, Keith Block of Ruthven; sisters, Salena (Jeff) Siefken of Fenton and Meloni (Kurt) Lindquist of Bristol, Wisconsin and brothers, Wallace Block of Aryshire and John Block of Emmetsburg.
Her grandparents preceded her in death.
