Bishop Garrigan sophomore Andrew Arndorfer sizzled around the Britt Country Club on Monday, May 7 with a three-under par score of 69 to win the individual title at the boys’ Top of Iowa Conference tournament.
Arndorfer shot a 33-36—69 on the par 72 course as the sophomore recorded an eagle on Hole No. 4, birdies on Holes No. 2, 5, 8, 10 and 13 to go along with eight pars during his day.
The Golden Bears finished second in the team race with a team total of 332 strokes, eight behind conference champion Garner-Hayfield/Ventura while North Union ended up in seventh place overall with a score of 383.
