Kossuth County COVID-19 case count

UPDATED - CASES JUMP NEARLY 35% SINCE LAST FRIDAY: Friday, Sept. 18, 11 a.m.: The number of COVID-19 cases diagnosed in Kossuth County is 203 as of today, up 50 or 34.6% since Friday, Sept. 11. Some 112 are listed as recovered, up seven from last Friday. There have been no deaths. There have been 3,111 tests, up 269 from Sept. 11. Of the 269 tests, 18.6% of people tested positive.

 

 

 

 

 

UPDATED - CASES JUMP NEARLY 10% SINCE FRIDAY: Friday, Sept. 11, 11 a.m.: The number of COVID-19 cases diagnosed in Kossuth County is 168 as of today, up 15 since Friday, Sept. 11. Some 105 are listed as recovered, the same total as last Friday. There have been no deaths. There have been 2,928 tests, up 86 from Sept. 11.

 

 

Friday, Sept. 11, 11 a.m.: The number of COVID-19 cases diagnosed in Kossuth County is 153 as of today, up 13 since Wednesday, Sept. 9. 105 are listed as recovered, up 9 since Sept. 9. There have been no deaths. There have been 2,842 tests, up 101 from Sept. 9.

Kossuth County's rolling 14-day average of the percentage of positive tests climbed from 5.9% on Sept. 9 to 7.9% on Sept. 11.

Seven individuals had positiveserology tests, indicating they had the virus previously without earlier diagnosis.

Of the diagnosed positive cases in the county, 13% were asymptomatic, 24% are pending determination, 60% had symptoms and 3% are unknown.

By age, 16% of the cases are in children ages 0-17; 45% are in adults 18-40; 25% are in middle age adults age 41-60; 11% are older adults ages 61-80; and 3% are elderly age 81 and above.

By gender, the cases are 50%-50%.

ALGONA—The number of diagnosed COVID-19 coronavirus cases in Kossuth County stood at 36 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7. That was an increase of four cases in seven days. The state’s COVID-19 website said 1,263 tests have been done in the county, 23 people have recovered and there have been no deaths.
